Just because you can only afford cheap toys, it doesn’t mean you can’t find something that your kids will like unless if they are super picky and only want the latest, hottest, most expensive toys out there. If that’s the case, you’re out of luck. For the rest of us with normal kids, we all know that kids get bored of their toys easily. They can ask for a certain toy for weeks, get super excited when they finally get the toy, and it’s collecting dust 2 weeks later. Now if you think back at all of the toys you had when you were a kid, which ones were your favorites? Many people find that their favorites were toys that didn’t cost a lot of money at all. If you give a kid some video games, all imagination goes out the window as they stare at the TV with a glazed look on their face. If you give a kids some action figures or dolls, they can create an entirely different world with their imagination.

Its Christmas time again and wooden toys will be all your child can think about. From the constant nagging to the special way they write their letter to Santa, children expect a lot of present at Christmas and expect the best products. However you don’t always have to give into the latest craze such as the playstation, x-box or Nintendo consul. Stick to your guns this Christmas and get them something worthwhile and sentimental that they can treasure forever. Try getting them an antique rocking horse, a classic spinning top or a hand craved play stool, that they will be able to pass on to their own children instead of something new age that will break within 2 years! So don’t succumb to all that consumer pressure and ensure you give your children the right standing in life by giving them something they can keep for years and years to come!
